Turkey And Cheese Tortilla Pinwheels

Turkey and cheese tortilla pinwheels are an easy no-cook lunch made by layering turkey and melty cheddar inside soft flour tortillas, then chilling and slicing into neat 1-inch spirals. The creamy ranch coating and chilled roll help the pinwheels hold their shape for kid-friendly lunchboxes.

Ingredients

Tortillas
  • 4 large flour tortillas
Creamy layer and filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 8 slices deli turkey
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
Finishing
  • 0.5 cup shredded lettuce
  • 0.25 cup ranch dressing

Method

Layer the tortillas
  1. Spread a thin, even layer of softened cream cheese over each tortilla.
  2. Layer turkey slices and cheddar cheese evenly across each tortilla.
  3. Scatter the shredded lettuce over the top and drizzle with ranch dressing.
Roll, chill, and slice
  1. Roll each tortilla up tightly into a log.
  2. Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape.
  3. Unwrap and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels before serving, keeping the spiral layers tight.

Notes

Chill the rolled tortillas before slicing—this is the key step that keeps the pinwheels from unraveling. Store pinwheels in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; freeze is not recommended because tortillas and lettuce texture will change. For a lighter option, use reduced-fat cream cheese and light ranch dressing.
