  • 8 graham cracker sheets Halved to make individual squares.
chocolate bars
  • 4 chocolate bars Broken into squares.
marshmallows
  • 8 marshmallows Toasted on a roasting stick over glowing coals.

Method
 

Prep the crackers and chocolate
  1. Break the graham cracker sheets in half to create individual squares.
  2. Place a square of chocolate on one graham cracker half.
Toast and assemble
  1. Skewer a marshmallow on a roasting stick and toast over the campfire until golden and gooey, rotating slowly.
  2. Carefully slide the toasted marshmallow onto the chocolate-topped graham cracker.
  3. Top with the second graham cracker half and press gently to sandwich everything together.
  4. Let sit for a few seconds so the chocolate softens before eating.
  5. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Notes

Pro tip: toast marshmallows low and slow over glowing coals rather than direct flame to keep them evenly melted and prevent burning. Store leftover assembled s’mores is not recommended for best texture—make and eat immediately.
